I have a lovely Two Color Flower Coaster crochet pattern for you today.
If you can crochet the basic stitches, you are good to go.
For this pattern i used fingering weight 100% cotton yarn (i just love using cotton for coasters 😍). I used two different colors - taupe beige and pink, but you can just keep it all the same color.

Size: The coaster measures 15 cm (5.9 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate
Materials Used:
- Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella in the colorways 76 and 613. 8 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
- 3.0mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
sl st. - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.
()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.
Instructions:
Start by making a magic (adjustable) ring.
Or, ch5 and join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: ch2 (counts as a hdc), 15hdc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch2.
Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1,
(1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 3: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into that same ch1 space,
(skip ch1 space, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch1 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 4: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, 1trc, ch1, 1trc, 3dc) into that same ch3 space, 1sc between 2nd and 3rd st.,
((3dc, 1trc, ch1, 1trc, 3dc) into next ch3 space, 1sc between 2nd and 3rd st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
ch1, cut off the yarn (skip this step when continuing with the same
yarn)
Round 5: Join the new yarn to any of ch1 spaces or continue with the same yarn by working a sl st. into next 3 sts and a sl st. into next ch1 space.
ch1, 1sc into that same ch1 space, ch4, skip 4 sts, (1trc, ch3, 1trc) into next st.,
(ch4, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch4, skip 4 sts, (1trc, ch3, 1trc) into next st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc.
Round 6: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, 1sc into next ch4 space, (3dc, 2trc, ch3picot, 2trc, 3dc) into next ch3 space,
(1sc into next ch4 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, 1sc into next ch4 space, (3dc, 2trc, ch3picot, 2trc, 3dc) into next ch3 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st into first sc.
Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
