This time i came up with a crochet Vivid Lace Doily pattern. It is made in only 8 rounds using the cotton yarn. You can crochet this in any type of yarn or thread.

Size: The doily measures approx. 24 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.
Materials Used:
- Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella yarn in the colorway 621 (green acid). 15 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
- 3mm crochet hook.
- Scissors.
- Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet
()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.
Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: ch2 (counts as a hdc), 15hdc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch2.
Round 2: ch4 (counts as a trc), ch3,
(1trc into next st., ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4.
Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into that same ch3 space,
((2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch3 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 4: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch3 space, ch1, 1sc into that same ch3 space, ch9,
(1sc into next ch3 space, ch9)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Round 5: sl st. into next 2 ch sts of ch9, ch3 (counts as a dc), 6dc into that same ch9 space,
7dc into each ch9 space around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 6: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc into same st., ch10,
(skip 6 sts, 1sc into next st., ch10)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Round 7: sl st. into next 3 ch sts of ch10, ch4 (counts as a trc), (2trc, 1dtrc, ch3, 1dtrc, 3trc) into that same ch10 space,
((3trc, 1dtrc, ch3, 1dtrc, 3trc) into next ch10 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4.
Round 8: sl st. into next st., ch1, 1sc into same st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., 2sc into next ch3 space, ch5, 2sc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., sl st. between next 2 sts,
(skip next st., 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st, 2sc into ch3 next space, ch5, 2sc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., sl st. between next 2 sts)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
Instructions:
Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: ch2 (counts as a hdc), 15hdc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch2.
Round 2: ch4 (counts as a trc), ch3,
(1trc into next st., ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4.
Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into that same ch3 space,
((2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch3 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 4: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch3 space, ch1, 1sc into that same ch3 space, ch9,
(1sc into next ch3 space, ch9)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Round 5: sl st. into next 2 ch sts of ch9, ch3 (counts as a dc), 6dc into that same ch9 space,
7dc into each ch9 space around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
Round 6: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc into same st., ch10,
(skip 6 sts, 1sc into next st., ch10)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Round 7: sl st. into next 3 ch sts of ch10, ch4 (counts as a trc), (2trc, 1dtrc, ch3, 1dtrc, 3trc) into that same ch10 space,
((3trc, 1dtrc, ch3, 1dtrc, 3trc) into next ch10 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4.
Round 8: sl st. into next st., ch1, 1sc into same st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., 2sc into next ch3 space, ch5, 2sc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., sl st. between next 2 sts,
(skip next st., 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st, 2sc into ch3 next space, ch5, 2sc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., ch3, 1sc into next st., sl st. between next 2 sts)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.
Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
