Spring Flower Doily Crochet Pattern


Hello Everyone! 🙂
Today i would like to introduce you to my Spring Flower Doily crochet pattern.
This doily will be an adorable decoration for your home. It's made in 13 rounds using pink cotton yarn but you can make it in any color to suit your taste.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Intermediate



Materials Used:
  • Sport weight mercerized 100% cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 6313 (pink). 33 grams (83 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):


st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet
dc2(3, 4)tog - 2, 3 or 4 double crochet closed together
dtrc4(5)tog - 4 or 5 double treble crochet closed together

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.




Instructions:

Start with ch4 and join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 8sc into the ring. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch1, 1sc into same st., ch3,
(1sc into next st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch4, ch5 (counts as a dtrc), dtrc4tog into that same ch3 space, 
(ch7, dtrc5tog into next ch3 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch3 + 1trc on top of the first dtrc4tog.

Round 4: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch5, 1sc into next dtrc4tog st., 
(ch5, 1sc into next ch7 space, ch5, 1sc into next dtrc5tog st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 5: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round,
(ch6, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 6: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch7,
(1sc into next ch6 space, ch7)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 7: sl st. into next 2 chains of next ch7, ch3 (counts as a dc), 6dc into that same ch7 space,
(7 dc into next ch7 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 8: ch2, 1dc into next 11 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3,
(dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 10 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc.



Round 9: ch2, 1dc into next 9 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 8 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.

Round 10: ch2, 1dc into next 7 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 6 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc.

Round 11: ch2, 1dc into next 5 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 4 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc.

Round 12: ch2, 1dc into next 3 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch3, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch2 space, ch5, skip next ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 2 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch3, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch2 space, ch5, skip next ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc.

Round 13: ch3 (counts as a dc), dc3tog over next 3 sts, ch5, sl st. on top of that  dc3tog st., ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch5, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5,
(dc4tog over next 4 sts, ch5, sl st. on top of that dc4tog st., ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch5, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next ch3 space, ch5, skip next ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the first dc3tog.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
