Easy & Quick Crochet Doily Coaster Pattern

I have an Easy & Quick Doily Coaster crochet pattern for you today.
This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. It is made in only 6 rounds using sport weight (#2) cotton yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern:


Size: The coaster measures approx. 
13 cm (5,1'') in diameter.


Skill Level: Easy.

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn - ball weight: 50g length: 160m. 7 grams (approx. 23 metres) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook. 

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. / sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

( )* – repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.






Instructions

Start with ch5, join with a sl st. to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 13dc into ring.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.  (14 sts)

Round 2: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into same st., 2dc into each st. around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.  (28 sts)

Round 3: ch4 (counts as 1dc + ch1),
(1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 27 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch4.


Round 4: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch5 (counts as 1dc + ch2),
(skip next st., 1dc into next ch1 space, ch2)* repeat 27 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch5.

Round 5: sl st. into next ch2 space, ch6 (counts as 1dc + ch3),
(skip next st., 1dc into next ch2 space, ch3)* repeat 27 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch6.

Round 6: sl st. into next ch, sl st. into same ch3 space, ch1 (doesn't count as st.), 1sc into same ch3 space, skip next st., 7dc into next ch3 space,
(skip next st., 1sc into next ch3 space, skip next st., 7dc into next ch3 space)* repeat 13 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Everyday Tote Bag Crochet Pattern



Hello everyone!πŸ™‚

Today i am sharing my Everyday Tote Bag crochet pattern with you. Perfect for market, beach trips, day trips, etc. It's very easy to make - worked in joined rounds using basic stitches - chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet.
I used YarnArt Macrame Cottonbut any worsted weight cotton or cotton blend yarn will work.

Written Pattern:

Finished Size: Height without handles: 29cm (11,4''), Height with handles: 52cm (20,5''), Width: 34cm (13,4''), Depth: 9cm (3,5'').

Materials Used:

  • Worsted - Aran weight cord type yarn, size 4 - medium. I used YarnArt Macrame Cotton - (250 grams / 225 meters) - 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester. 2 skeins needed for this pattern.
  • 5 mm (H) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends.
  • 4 stitch markers (optional).

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch

Instructions:

Foundation chain: ch30 
(multiples of 3)

Round 1: 2dc into 4th ch from hook, 1dc into next 25 ch sts, 6dc into last ch st., 1dc into next 25 ch sts on the other side of foundation chain, 3dc into last ch st. Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (62 dc sts including ch3 at the beginning of round)

Round 2: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into same st., 2dc into next 2 sts, 1dc into next 25 sts, 2dc into next 6 sts, 1dc into next 25 sts, 2dc into remaining 3 sts. 
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (74 dc sts)

Round 3: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into same st., 2dc into next 3 sts., 1dc into next 29 sts, 2dc into next 8 sts, 1dc into next 29 sts, 2dc into remaining 4 sts. Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (90 dc sts)

Round 4: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc into same st., 
(skip next 2 sts, 3dc into next st.)* repeat 29 times around. 
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (90 dc sts)

Round 5: sl st. into next st., ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc into same st., 
(skip next 2 sts, 3dc into next st.)* repeat 29 times around. 
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (90 dc sts)

Round 6 - 19: repeat Round 5.

Round 20: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., 1sc into each st. around. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc. (90 sc sts)


Insert stitch markers (optional)! 
Skip 14 sts, first stitch marker into 15th st.,
Skip 18 sts, second stitch marker into 19th st.,
Skip 25 sts, third stitch marker into 26th st.,
Skip 18 sts, fourth stitch marker into 19th st.

Round 21: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., 1sc into next 14 sts, ch60, skip next 18 sts, 1sc into next 27 sts, ch60, skip next 18 sts, 1sc into remaining 12 sts. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc. (54 sc sts, 120 chains)

Round 22: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., 1sc into each st., 1sc into each ch around. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc. (174 sc sts)

Round 23 - 24: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., 1sc into each st. around. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc. (174 sc sts)

Fasten off and weave in all ends using a yarn needle or a latch hook.

Crochet Chevron Stitch Table Runner - Free Pattern

Today I have a Chevron Stitch Rectangle Table Runner crochet pattern to share with you. The pattern uses 2 basic crochet stitches (chain and double crochet) and is worked in rows (back and forth). The chevron stitch is sometimes also called the zig zag stitch, it cosists of repeating V shapes which creates a zig zag border. It's also a great pattern for blankets, rugs and scarves.

Written Pattern

Size: The table runner measures approx. 29 cm x 68 cm (11.4'' x 26.8'').

You can adjust the length of the table runner by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
1 pattern repeat - Rows 5 - 10 - approx 8,5 cm (3,4''). I made a total of 7 pattern repeats.

You can adjust the width of the table runner by adding or subtracting chain stitches in a multiple of 16 + 3.


Skill Level: Easy

Gauge: 6 stitches = 2,5 cm (1'') in double crochet.

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in the colorway 11238. 90 grams (270 meters approx) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.5mm (US size E4) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st./sts - stitch / stitches
    ch - chain
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet

    Row 11 - 46: repeat Row 5 - 10 six more times, or until you reach the desired length.



    Row 47: ch3 (counts as 1dc), turn, [1dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next st.]* repeat 2 times,

    (skip next ch1, skip next 2 sts, skip next ch1, 1dc into next st., [1dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next st.]* repeat 2 times, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch3 space, 1dc into next st., [1dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next st.]* repeat 2 times)* repeat 4 times across,
