Oval Doily Table Runner Crochet Pattern

Today I have an Oval Doily Table Runner crochet pattern to share with you. It is made in only 13 rounds using mercerised cotton yarn. You can crochet this in any type of yarn or thread.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 41 x 30 cm (16.1 x 11.8 inches).

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Alize Bahar mercerised 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 465 (Mint). 54 grams (140,5 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet

ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch made), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:



Foundation: ch22

Round 1: 5dc into the 4th ch from hook,

1dc into next 17 ch sts,

6dc into last ch st., 1dc into next 17 ch sts on the other side of the foundation chain. 

Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.



Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 1dc into same st., (1dc, ch1, 1dc) into each of next 5 sts., 
(skip next st., (1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next st.)* repeat 8 times,
skip next st., (1dc, ch1, 1dc) into each of next 6 sts,
(skip next st., (1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next st.)*repeat 8 times,
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 1dc into same ch1 space,  ((1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 5 times,
(1dc into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 8 times,
((1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 6 times,
(1dc into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 8 times.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2,
(1dc into next dc st., ch2)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.


Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3,
(1dc into next dc st., ch3)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 6: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch4, (1dc into next dc st., ch4)* repeat 10 times,
(1dc into next dc st., ch3)* repeat 9 times,
(1dc into next dc st., ch4)* repeat 11 times,
(1dc into next dc st., ch3)* repeat 9 times.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

5dc into each of next 11 ch5 spaces,
3dc into each of next 9 ch3 spaces.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 at the beginning of the round.

Round 9: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 1dc into same st., ch1,
(skip next 3 sts, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) into next st., ch1)* repeat 40 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 10: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch2, 2dc) into same ch1 space, ch1, 
(skip next ch1, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 40 times around.
Join with a sl st. on topof the ch3 at the beginning of the round.

Round 11: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch2, 2dc) into same ch2 space, ch1,
(skip next ch1, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next ch2 space, ch1)* repeat 40 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 at the beginning of the round.

Round 12: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, ch2, 3dc) into same ch2 space,

Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 at the beginning of the round.

Round 13: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, ch3picot, 3dc) into next ch2 space,

Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 at the beginning of the round.

Wild Rose Doily - Free Crochet Pattern



Hello Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today i'm here to share my Wild Rose Doily chrochet pattern. This doily pattern will work well for those who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches.
It can also be turned into a rug by using a thick yarn and a large crochet hook.
All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Size: The doily measures approx. 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate



Materials Used:






  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in the colorway 11236 (Marsala). 33 grams (99 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
    dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



    Instructions:

    Note that the doily can curl up at some points of making it (especially at round 13). Don't worry, it will flatten back down when further rounds are done!

    Start with ch4. Join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

    Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3,

    Vibrant Summer Doily Crochet Pattern

    Vibrant Summer Doily is another crochet pattern i have been wanting to post on here for the longest time. This pattern is suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches.

    Size: The doily measures approx. 26 cm (10.2 inches) in diameter.
    Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

    Materials Used:


    • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 621 (green acid). 24 grams (87 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet
    dc2tog - 2 double crochet closed together
    trc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 treble crochet closed together

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



    Instructions:

    Start with ch8, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

    This doily will be an adorable decoration for your home. It's made in 13 rounds using pink cotton yarn but you can make it in any color to suit your taste.
