Crochet Floral Lace Doily



Hi Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today i have a Floral Lace Doily crochet pattern to share with you. It is made in only 11 rounds using mercerised cotton yarn. You can crochet this in any type of yarn or thread.

Size: The doily measures approximately 29 cm (11.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 5313 (dusty pink). 31 grams (78 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet                                                                                                hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet                                                                                          dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together                                                  trc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 treble crochet closed together

ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into base of that ch3 or into first ch made (into 3rd ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

ch5picot - ch5, insert your hook into base of that ch5 or into first ch made (into 5th ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch8, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.


Round 1: ch2 (counts as 1 dc of dc3tog), dc2tog into ring - first dc3tog made, ch4,

(dc3tog into ring, ch4)* repeat 7 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the first dc2tog at the beginning of the round.


Round 2: ch1, 1sc into same st., 5dc into next ch4 space, 

(1sc into next dc3tog st., 5dc into next ch4 space)* repeat 7 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 3: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc into same st., ch6,

(skip next 5 sts, 1sc into next st., ch6)* repeat 7 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, (1dc, ch2)*2 times into next ch6 space,

(1dc into next sc st., ch2, (1dc, ch2)*2 times into next ch6 space)* repeat 7 times around. Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.


Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into next ch2 space,

(1dc into next dc st., 2dc into next ch2 space)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 6: ch3 (counts as 1trc of trc3tog), trc2tog over next 2 sts - first trc3tog made, 

(ch5, trc3tog over next 3 sts)* repeat 23 times around. Join with ch2 + 1dc on top of the first trc2tog at the beginning of the round to make last ch5.

Round 7: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 

(ch6, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 23 times around. Join with ch3 + 1dc into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 8: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 

(ch7, 1sc into next ch6 space)* repeat 23 times around. Join with ch3 + 1trc into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 9: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch7,

(1sc into next ch7 space, ch7)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 10: sl st. into next ch7 space, ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 2dc, ch2, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into same ch7 space,

(1sc, 1hdc, 2dc, ch2, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc)* repeat into each of next 23 ch7 spaces. Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 11: sl st. into next 3 sts, sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as 1trc of trc3tog), trc2tog into same ch2 space - first trc3tog made, ch2, ch3picot, ch5picot, ch3picot, ch2, trc3tog into same ch2 space, ch3,

(skip next 8 sts, trc3tog into next ch2 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch5picot, ch3picot, ch2, trc3tog into same ch2 space, ch3)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the first trc2tog at the beginning of the round.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Doily Placemat Easy Crochet Pattern



Hello Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today i have an easy Doily Placemat crochet pattern to share with you. If you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern:


Size: The doily placemat measures approximately 27 cm (10.6 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 4907 (hot pink). 43 grams (108 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
V-st. - V-stitch - (1dc, ch1, 1dc) worked into same stitch.

ch3picotch3, insert your hook into base of that ch3 or into first ch made (into 3rd ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.





Instructions:

Note that the doily can curl up at some points of making it. Don't worry, it will flatten back down when further rounds are done!

Start with ch10, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 24sc into ring. Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.


Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 23 sts. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next st., 

(2dc into next st., 1dc into next st.)* repeat 11 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 2 sts, 

(2dc into next st., 1dc into next 2 sts)* repeat 11 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 3 sts, 

(2dc into next st., 1dc into next 3 sts)* repeat 11 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 6: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 4 sts, 

(2dc into next st., 1dc into next 4 sts)* repeat 11 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 7: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 5 sts,

Round 10: sl st. into next V-st., ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same V-st., ch2, 2dc into same V-st., ch1, 

(skip next ch1, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next V-st., ch1)* repeat 31 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 11: sl st. into next st., sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into same ch2 space, ch2, 3dc into same ch2 space, 

(skip next 2 sts, skip next ch1, skip next 2 sts, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) into next ch2 space)* repeat 31 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


Round 12: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into same ch2 space, ch2, 3dc into same ch2 space, 

(skip next 6 sts, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) into next ch2 space)* repeat 31 times around. Join with a sl st. on topof the beginning ch3.


Round 13: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into same ch2 space, ch3picot, 1dc into same ch2 space, ch3picot, 3dc into same ch2 space, 

(skip next 6 sts, (3dc, ch3picot, 1dc, ch3picot, 3dc) into next ch2 space)* repeat 31 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Crochet Round Coaster/Motif - Free Pattern

This time i have an easy Round Coaster/Motif crochet pattern to share with you.
It's suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches. These can be used individually as coasters or joined together to create tablecloths, tops, dresses, etc.

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approx. 15 cm (5.9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate


Materials Used:


  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn. 10 grams (30 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet


    ch3picot ch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch made), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

    Instructions:

    Start with ch4, sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.


    Round 1: ch2 (counts as a hdc), 11hdc into the ring.

    Square Picot Coaster Crochet Pattern

    Today i am sharing the Square Picot Coaster crochet pattern with you. This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook. You can go up in yarn and hook size to crochet a bigger coaster.

    Size: The coaster measures approx. 13 x 13 cm (5.1 x 5.1 inches).

    Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.




    Materials Used:

    • Fingering yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella Batik Design 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 1815. 10 grams (36 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet

    3hdc puff (hdc3tog) - 3 half double crochet closed together - (Yarn over, insert your hook into indicated stitch, yarn over, pull the yarn through the stitch)* repeat 3 times. Now you should have 7 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all 7 loops.
