Size: The doily measures approx. 23 cm (9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo yarn in the colorway 11526 (Pink Coral).18 grams (54 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15 dc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1,
(1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.



Round 3: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 1dc into that same ch1 space.
((1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next ch1 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 4: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 1dc into that same ch1 space,

Crochet Floral Doily Coaster Free Pattern

Today i am sharing the Floral Doily Coaster crochet pattern with you.
This pattern will work very well for those who are beginners at crocheting doilies and coasters. This  easy doily pattern is worked using the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approx. 16 cm (6.3 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella yarn in the colorway 28 (Rose). 8 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain 
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

Instructions:

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into  first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 16sc into the ring. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Pineapple Doily Free Crochet Pattern

Today i have another crochet doily pattern to share with you all, it's the Pineapple Doily.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approx. 24 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella cotton yarn in the colorway 487 (orange). 14 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dc2tog - 2 double crochet closed together
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet

ch3(4)picot - ch3(4), insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.


Instructions:

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Textured Doily / Placemat - Free Crochet Pattern

Today i'd like to introduce you to the Textured Doily / Placemat crochet pattern. Popcorn stitch design gives the doily a lovely texture look. This pattern can be also turned into a rug by using a thick yarn and a large crochet hook.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approx. 29 cm (11.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

Gauge: 12 sts = 5 cm (2 inches) in double crochet.

Materials Used: 

  • Sport weight mercerized 100% cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 6313 (pink). 47 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook. 
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together

dc3(4)popcorn - 3 or 4 double crochet popcorn stitch - work  3 or 4dc in the same stitch (space). Drop loop from the hook, insert your hook from front to back into the first dc. Place dropped loop on the hook and pull through stitch.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.





Instructions:

Start with ch5 and join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.
Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15dc into the ring.

2dc into each st. around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.
